1 Corinthians 3:1-15
On Divisions in the Church
1 Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly (or carnal, fleshly)—mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.
Paul had spent a year and a half preaching in Corinth before he left and is now writing them.
Hebrews 5:12-14 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Hebrews 6:1-3
1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God, 2 instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

Come on guys; Grow Up! In the Chapter 1 Paul says; “you do not lack any spiritual gift…” Get in the Game!
I mean we’re all maturing in our walk until we reach heaven, but… My grandson Jack is soo cute, when he sees me he calls out “Pa” (short for G-Pa, my nickname). But if he was 25yrs old and he was to call it out it might get annoying! Grow up!
3 You are still worldly (still carnal). For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? Relying on human wisdom,
What’s it mean to be carnal:
Galatians 5:20 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

Paul received his anointing to be an evangelist to the Gentiles in:
Acts 18:4-11
4 Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
5 When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.[a] 6 But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door (I love it!) to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God. 8 Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptized.
9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” 11 So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.
7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. (rewarded, this is more like wages paid, not gifts) 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Gods field = evangelism, God’s building = growing together as a temple, a church
2 Corinthians 6 1 As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
Ephesians 2:20-22 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. (we are all like sub-contractors) But each one should be careful how he builds. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. 14 If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

2 Corinthians 5:10 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
